Pilgrim’s Trail 20 Feb 13

Major change in the story that I am surprised that I did not think of sooner and those of you that know me will be surprised too! Hero protagonist Hank Paulson is no longer a Marshal but the service has been changed to Rangers! LOL So now Hank is a Ranger! The story progresses, I have a lot of notes that are enough to complete the book which just climbed over 35,000 words, my goal is 70,000+, but I have not had enough time to type it out. Just some odd additions to add some depth to the story is all that I have had time for.

Additional stories have been manifesting as well. Something of a prequel to Pilgrim’s Trail, working title The Waiting which explores the challenges and folly that accompanies terraforming in the future. The Universe that I have created with Pilgrim’s Trail is realistic based on our current astrophysics knowledge, most of the planets except those in Tau Ceti are real. The characters offer of depth that will allow me to take this in several different directions. Much like I have planned with Core, I will be able to write in this genre for years!

Also more survival information is available if anyone is interested. I have not written anything knew really but have had some thoughts on survival that are worth sharing. Also ask questions because I have found that it is easier to answer questions on the subject, that is actually how I write on survival.
